H-1B cap limit for 2026 already reached: What does this mean for Indians?
Posted
USCIS has reached the H-1B visa cap for fiscal year 2026, halting new cap-subject petitions. The agency will continue processing cap-exempt petitions, including those for current H-1B workers retaining their cap numbers. The next registration for FY 2027 will commence in March 2026, while extensions and changes for existing H-1B workers remain unaffected.
