ED arrests Baghel’s son in Chhattisgarh liquor ‘scam’

Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with an alleged Rs 2,100 crore liquor scam. The arrest, following a search of his residence, sparked political reactions, with Congress alleging it was an attempt to suppress debate on deforestation linked to an industrialist.
