With juvenile on board, pay 2x fine for breaking traffic rules
Posted
The road transport ministry is considering doubling penalties for traffic violations when children are present, aiming to enhance safety and accountability. A "merit and demerit" point system is also proposed, linking insurance premiums to driving behavior and potentially suspending licenses for excessive violations. Furthermore, drivers with traffic violations may face mandatory retesting upon license renewal.
