MDU and ITC Hotels launch India’s first apprenticeship embedded degree programme in hospitality and tourism

Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, has partnered with ITC Hotels’ Classic Golf & Country Club to launch India’s first Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) in hospitality and tourism. The four-year hybrid BBA programmes combine two years of academic study with two years of industry apprenticeship, offering students practical training, stipends, accommodation, and mentorship. This collaboration aligns with UGC Guidelines 2025 and NEP-2020, aiming to produce industry-ready graduates through a skill-integrated curriculum co-designed with ITC professionals.
