Bringing a sense of relief to the residents of #Guwahati, the Guwahati Jal Board announced on Sunday that the water supply from Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA) would recommence on June 5. This confirmation was conveyed by the board through their official Twitter account. Previously, the Guwahati Jal Board had temporarily halted the JICA water supply after a pipeline burst occurred in the Kharguli area of Guwahati. Technical experts from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) thoroughly assessed the overall infrastructure and identified the root cause of the problem.
