Following the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians, Indian forces launched 'Operation Sindoor,' targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. The Indian government stated the strikes were measured and non-escalatory, avoiding Pakistani military facilities. Pakistan's military reported missile attacks in three locations and vowed retaliation at a time and place of its choosing.
