Sonu Nigam has petitioned the Karnataka High Court to quash an FIR filed against him for allegedly making offensive remarks about the Kannadiga community during a Bengaluru music event. Following a complaint and police notices, the court has adjourned the hearing to May 15. Amid the controversy, a song sung by Nigam was removed from a Kannada film, prompting the singer to issue a public apology expressing his love for Karnataka.
