Nagaland hit by heavy rain, landslides; NH-2 collapses, cutting off Manipur

Severe rains caused a 50-metre section of NH-2 to collapse at Phesama village, disrupting transport between Nagaland and Manipur. Hundreds of trucks are stranded, prompting Deputy CM Zeliang to seek immediate restoration and an alternate route. He highlighted this as the third collapse since 2013, urging a permanent solution.
