Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah distanced his government from the stampede deaths following an RCB victory celebration, blaming mismanagement by the police, KSCA, and RCB. He stated he was only informed of the incident nearly two hours after it occurred and had only approved the Vidhana Soudha event.
