In a first, Indian firm bags rocket tech from Isro; HAL wins SSLV ToT

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has secured a transfer of technology from ISRO for the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) at a cost of Rs 511 crore, marking a significant milestone for the Indian space sector. HAL will now own, build, market, and launch the SSLV, with plans to manufacture 6-10 rockets annually after a two-year technology transfer period.
