Posted
The Delhi Directorate of Education has mandated a uniform minimum age of six years for Class 1 admissions from the 2026–27 session, restructuring the foundational stage to include three years of pre-primary learning. Applicable to all recognised schools, the move aligns with NEP 2020 and aims to ensure age-appropriate entry into formal schooling.
