Mughal Road gets tunnel, Omar Abdullah says ‘major achievement of my govt’

The Union government has approved 19 road and tunnel projects worth Rs 10,637 crore for Jammu and Kashmir, including the crucial Peer Ki Gali tunnel on the Mughal Road. This tunnel will provide year-round connectivity between Kashmir and Jammu, offering an alternative to the Srinagar-Jammu national highway. The projects also include the Sadhana Tunnel, connecting Kupwara with Karnah.
