Naveen Patnaik has appealed to the External Affairs Ministry for intervention following the suspected abduction of P Venkatramana, an Indian worker from Odisha, after an attack on a cement factory in Mali. The Ministry has confirmed the abduction of three Indian nationals, with the Indian embassy in Bamako coordinating with local authorities.
