Fresh Myanmar clash sparks refugee surge in Mizoram

Over 1,000 individuals from Myanmar's Chin state sought refuge in Mizoram's Zokhawthar village on Saturday, escaping intense clashes between anti-junta militias. The fighting, involving the Chinland Defence Force (Hualngoram) and Chin National Defence Force (CNDF), resulted in casualties and displacement. Mizoram already hosts over 32,000 Myanmar refugees.
