Andries Gous's composed innings and Glenn Maxwell's excellent bowling performance led Washington Freedom to a six-wicket victory over MI New York in a rain-affected match. This win secured Washington a top-two finish and a spot in Qualifier 1. Despite the loss, MI New York also advanced to the playoffs due to their superior Net Run Rate.
