Ovidio Guzman Lopez, son of “El Chapo,” pleaded guilty in the US to drug trafficking, marking the first plea deal by one of El Chapo's sons. He admitted to leading a Sinaloa cartel faction, the “Chapitos,” responsible for smuggling fentanyl and other drugs into the US. Sentencing is delayed as he cooperates with authorities, while his brother's case continues.
