Posted
Chanda Kochhar, former CEO of ICICI Bank, was found guilty of accepting bribes. The appellate tribunal stated that she received Rs 64 crore through her husband from Videocon group. This payment was a quid-pro-quo for sanctioning a Rs 300 crore loan. The tribunal criticized the previous relief given to the accused. It validated the ED's attachment of assets.
