Bangladesh set to revive caretaker govt system

Bangladeshi political stakeholders have agreed to reinstate the caretaker government system, abolished over a decade ago, following 14 years of struggle. The agreement was reached during discussions initiated by the National Consensus Commission. However, Awami League and Jatiya Party did not participate in the Muhammad Yunus-headed interim government's political dialogue.
