An off-duty US Border Patrol agent was shot in the face during a robbery in a New York City park. The suspect, Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, an illegal immigrant with a prior deportation order, was apprehended. The agent returned fire, wounding Mora, who has a history of arrests and was previously released due to overcrowding despite his immigration status.
