Shock exit: Dhankhar quits as VP on first day of Parl session
Posted
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar abruptly resigned, citing health reasons, just before completing two years in office. His resignation, submitted to President Droupadi Murmu, took effect immediately. The move has sparked speculation, especially given his recent cardiac procedure and fainting spell, despite appearing well on Monday. Dhankhar, who assumed office in August 2022, was expected to serve until 2027.
