Kuwait gives 4-month grace period for people who lost citizenship: Can they still travel and work?

Kuwait has initiated a four-month grace period starting July 19, 2025, for individuals who lost citizenship under the “Outstanding Services” clause. They can use their Kuwaiti passports during this time and have a year to obtain foreign passports or residency. Affected individuals retain rights to work (excluding supervisory roles), education, housing, and vehicle ownership.
