Doctor asleep, man 'bleeds to death' in Meerut hospital

A junior resident doctor at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College in Meerut has been suspended following allegations of negligence. The doctor allegedly failed to attend to a 30-year-old accident victim, Sunil Kumar, who later died from his injuries while waiting for treatment. An investigation has been launched into the incident after a video surfaced showing the doctor seemingly asleep while Kumar's family pleaded for help.
