Remembering Shanawas: An '80s romantic hero

Malayalam actor Shanawas, the son of the legendary Prem Nazir, passed away on Monday at the age of 71. Shanawas, who debuted in 'Premageethangal' (1981), built a successful career in both cinema and television, appearing in around 80 films and later making a comeback on the small screen with serials like 'Shankhupushpam'. His notable film appearances include 'Veeraputhran' and 'Jana Gana Mana'.
