MoD clears big arms deals, including BrahMos, armed drones, worth Rs 67,000cr

India's defence ministry has approved the procurement of 87 armed drones and over 110 BrahMos missiles, along with other modernization proposals, totaling Rs 67,000 crore. The acquisition of MALE drones, to be produced with 60% indigenous content, aims to enhance the capabilities of the three services, while the BrahMos missiles will further strengthen the firepower of Sukhoi-30MKI fighters.
