Deepika steps back from acting in The Intern remake

Deepika Padukone will no longer star in the Hindi remake of 'The Intern'. She will now only produce the film. The search for a new female lead is underway. Padukone plans to focus on globally relevant stories. She has a busy acting schedule. She will reunite with director Atlee and reportedly star in Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film.
