CBSE conducts surprise school inspection blitz across 5 states and 1 UT: What it reveals about school compliance

On August 13, 2025, CBSE conducted surprise inspections in 10 schools across Assam, Delhi, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Odisha. The inspections, carried out simultaneously, aimed to assess compliance with CBSE Bye-Laws, academic standards, and physical infrastructure. Each inspection team included a CBSE officer and a principal from a CBSE-affiliated school. Reports from these inspections will inform further action. CBSE reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing regulations and maintaining school operational standards.
