  • Indian Medical Association (IMA) Vs Baba Ramdev Case (Explained)

This is the ad for which IMA and Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah want to rip apart Baba Ramdev

The ad titled - ‘Misconceptions Spread By Allopathy: Save Yourself And The Country From The Misconceptions Spread By Pharma And Medical Industry’

In this ad, Patanjali talked about :

BP, Sugar, Thyroid, Eye and Ear disease, Skin disease, Liver, Arthritis, Asthma, Heart blockage, low immunity, infertility, stress

Patanjali said that there is no permanent cure of these disease in allopathy and cure is designed by Pharma and medical industry in such way that patient just keep buying their medicines all life

Patanjali claimed that they have ayurvedic cure of these disease in which there is no side effect and patient is completely cured an no need to take medicines all like like allopathy

IMA made following allegations on Baba Ramdev :
    - Baba Ramdev called allopathy a “stupid and bankrupt science"
    - Ramdev made claims about allopathic medicine being responsible for Covid-19 deaths
    - Ramdev asked people to not go for Covid vaccines
    - “continuous, systematic, and unabated spread of misinformation" caimpaign against pharma and medical industry
    - false and unfounded claims about curing certain diseases through use of Patanjali products

    Timeline

    - August 2022 IMA filed petition against baba Ramdev in Supreme Court

    - November 21, 2023, first hearing on petition
Justice Amanullah orally warned Patanjali against claiming their products can completely “cure" diseases, and threatened to impose a cost of Rs 1 crore on every product for which such a claim is made n asked him to stop

    - January 15, 2024, Supreme Court received an anonymous letter addressed Justice Amanullah regarding the continued publishing of false and misleading advertisements (Who sent that anonymous letter ?)

    - Feb 27, 2024 Supreme Court issued contempt notice to Patanjali Ayurved and its MD Acharya Balakrishna for flouting earlier orders and continuing to propagate misleading claims about curing diseases with the company’s products
Court placed a blanket ban until further orders on any further advertising or branding of Patanjali medicinal products

    - March 19, Court was told reply to contempt notice was not filed, after which it passed an order seeking the personal appearance of Balakrishna and Ramdev. It also made the Uttarkhand government a party

    - March 21, Balkrishna issued an unqualified apology to the Supreme Court

    - April 2, Court strongly criticised Ramdev and Balkrishna, dismissing their apology as “lip service"

    - April 9, Ramdev and Balkrishna tendered an unconditional apology before the Supreme Court

    - April 10, Bench said. “Tendering apology is not enough. You should suffer the consequences for violating the court’s order. We do not want to be generous in this case.
SC said: “What about all the faceless people who have consumed these Patanjali medicines stated to be cured diseases which cannot be cured? Can you do this to an ordinary person?"

Hearing is going on under following laws :
    - Drugs & Other Magical Remedies Act, 1954 (DOMA)
    - Section 89 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
    - MoU signed by the Ministry of AYUSH and the Advertising Standards Council of India in January 2017

People sud understand that real villain here are these laws. All medical guidelines and laws are made by IMA so if Baba wants to prove efficacy of his medicines, he has to prove on IMA guidelines so Baba is playing on IMA's pitch. There sud be separate act for Ayurveda products and they sud not come under DOMA 1954

In 1910, USA published a Flexner report which was funded by Rockefeller group which recommended to eliminate naturopathy treatments and traditional medicine system and to adopt modern allopathy which was again founded by Rockefeller group and they had business interest in that
Our DOMA 1954 is inspired from that Flexner report only

  • Sustaining Heritage: Exploring the Timeless Tradition of Rice Cultivation in India

Rice, the staple food of billions across the globe, has been cultivated in India for millennia, deeply ingrained in the cultural and agricultural fabric of the nation. While modern agricultural practices have brought innovation and efficiency to farming, the traditional methods of rice cultivation in India continue to thrive, embodying centuries of wisdom passed down through generations.

    The Ritual of Land Preparation
The journey of rice cultivation begins with the sacred ritual of land preparation. Across the fertile plains of India, farmers meticulously plow their fields, often guided by age-old practices handed down from their ancestors. With oxen or water buffaloes powering the plows, the earth is turned, leveled, and readied to receive the seeds of life.

    The Essence of Seed Selection
Seed selection is a sacred art in traditional rice cultivation. Farmers carefully choose seeds from the previous harvest or from indigenous varieties, each adapted to the nuances of their local environment. These seeds are treated with reverence, soaked in water, or adorned with organic substances to honor the cycle of life and enhance their vitality.

    Transplanting: A Dance with Nature
In the heart of traditional rice cultivation lies the graceful dance of transplanting. Seedlings, nurtured with care in vibrant nurseries, are delicately transferred to flooded fields. With practiced hands, farmers wade through the waters, planting each seedling with precision, embodying a timeless communion with the land and its bounty.

    Water: The Elixir of Life
Water, the elixir of life, is the pulse of traditional rice cultivation. Farmers harness the monsoon rains or channel water from ancient rivers and reservoirs to flood their fields, creating a watery tapestry where rice plants thrive. The delicate balance of water management is an art form passed down through generations, ensuring the sustenance of both crop and community.

Weeding and Pest Control: Nature's Balance
In the intricate web of traditional rice cultivation, weeding and pest control are harmonized with nature's balance. Farmers eschew synthetic chemicals, relying instead on manual labor and natural remedies. With nimble fingers, they pluck weeds from the earth, while herbal concoctions and organic substances safeguard the rice paddies from nature's marauders.

    Fertilization: Nourishing the Earth
Fertilization in traditional rice cultivation is a testament to the symbiotic relationship between farmer and earth. Cow dung, compost, and green manure are lovingly applied to the fields, enriching the soil and nurturing the rice plants. This ancient alchemy of fertility honors the wisdom of the land and ensures a bountiful harvest for generations to come.

    Harvest: A Celebration of Abundance
As the golden grains of rice sway in the gentle breeze, the time for harvest arrives. Armed with sickles and sheaves, farmers embark on a sacred quest to reap nature's bounty. Each stroke of the sickle is a homage to the earth, as bundles of rice stalks are gathered and threshed, revealing the treasure within.

Drying and Storage: Preserving the Harvest
With the harvest complete, the final chapter of traditional rice cultivation unfolds. Rice grains, kissed by the sun and imbued with the essence of the land, are spread out to dry. In granaries and woven bags made from natural fibers, they find sanctuary, awaiting their journey from field to table.

Embracing Tradition in a Modern World
In a world driven by technological innovation and rapid change, the tradition of rice cultivation in India stands as a testament to the enduring wisdom of the past. While modern agricultural practices offer efficiency and scale, the timeless methods of traditional rice cultivation embody a deeper connection—to the land, to the community, and to the rhythms of nature.

    Conclusion: Cultivating a Sustainable Future
As we navigate the complexities of a rapidly changing world, the tradition of rice cultivation in India serves as a guiding light—a reminder of the importance of honoring our roots, preserving our heritage, and cultivating a sustainable future for generations to come. In the sacred dance of planting and harvest, we find not only sustenance for the body but nourishment for the soul, as we continue to sow the seeds of tradition, one season at a time.

  • Delhi: EAM Dr S Jaishankar says "...The entire country celebrated our presidency of the G20. The G20 in many ways, was an example of political and economic rebalancing, where instead of a few countries who were running the world or influencing the world or dominating the world, this has broadened out and clearly, here the role of India was recognized. But after political and economic rebalancing, today the battle is for cultural rebalancing, that how do we recognize the entire diversity of the world? How do we undo the distortions of an era which was dominated by a few countries and a few regions? And that is why it is crucial today for us to project our own heritage, our civilization, our culture, our way of life, faith, our belief and that to me is as crucial in diplomacy and international relations as traditional politics..."

  • The imagery of a beach in the 1970s in the western world conjures a nostalgic scene of carefree days, sun-kissed sands, and bronzed bodies lounging under the warm glow of the sun. In this idyllic setting, one notable absence is the sight of overweight bodies. This observation, shared by Palapa Gamage in a Facebook post, prompts reflection on the profound changes that have occurred in societal attitudes towards food and health over the past few decades.

During the 1970s, the prevalence of obesity and associated health issues was significantly lower compared to contemporary times. The beach, often a symbol of leisure and vitality, mirrored a population that was generally slimmer and more active. People engaged in outdoor activities, sports, and leisurely strolls along the shore, maintaining a lifestyle that naturally regulated their weight and health.

However, juxtaposed against this nostalgic backdrop is a sobering reality—the transformation of the food industry and its impact on our bodies and health. Over the decades, the food industry has undergone a radical evolution characterized by the proliferation of highly processed, calorie-dense foods that are often laden with sugars, unhealthy fats, and artificial additives.

This shift in food production and consumption patterns has contributed to a dramatic rise in obesity rates, chronic diseases, and other health ailments across the globe. Portion sizes have expanded, fast food chains have become ubiquitous, and convenience has taken precedence over nutritional value. As a result, the once-common sight of trim beachgoers from the 1970s has been replaced by a diverse array of body shapes and sizes, many of which reflect the consequences of modern dietary habits and sedentary lifestyles.

Palapa Gamage's poignant observation serves as a stark reminder of the profound impact of the food industry on our collective well-being. It prompts us to question the choices we make regarding food and lifestyle, and to consider the broader societal and economic forces shaping our relationship with nutrition and health. As we strive to reclaim a sense of balance and mindfulness in our diets and daily routines, we are reminded of the importance of fostering a culture of wellness that prioritizes wholesome, nourishing foods and active living—a culture reminiscent of the timeless allure of the beach in the 1970s.

  • Trump meets Argentina's Javier Milei at CPAC.

The Argentinian maverick President is doing far better work than the US.

Javier Milei Ended A DC-Sized Deficit In Just Nine Weeks.

Apparently, it took Milei just nine and a half weeks to balance a budget that was projected at 5% of GDP under the previous government. In US terms, he turned a 1.2 trillion-dollar annual deficit into a 400 billion surplus. In 9 and a half weeks.

How did he do it? Easy: he cut a host of central government agency budgets by 50% while slashing crony contracts and activist handouts.

For perspective, if you cut the entirety of Washington’s budget by 50%, you’d save a fast 3 trillion dollars and start paying off the national debt.

If Trump navigate mafia Courts in US run by Democrats and China, He is the President but if courts win, rest assured the US will push the world in war and US will be doomed
