Re-educating people is crucial, and it’s not just about formal education. We need a cultural movement—through media, social platforms, and even politics—that reinforces these values.

When politicians are corrupt, this kind of situation was bound to happen. When we talk about issues like USAID’s interference in Nepal’s politics, we often miss the bigger question: Why aren’t the citizens of Nepal more nationalistic? Where did we go wrong, and how did we end up in a place where we hurt our own civilization just for money?

Let’s not just focus on foreign interference—it happened in the past, it’s happening now, and it will likely continue. People will always try to influence others for their benefit. But when will our politicians become morally and ideologically strong enough to stand up for their country and citizens?

Yes, we need to remove these corrupt individuals from politics. But in my opinion, we need to start by looking at our education system. From childhood, we should teach our kids about our scriptures, the Bhagavad Gita, and Sanskrit. This will help solve the problem in the long run.

Right now, our immediate focus should be on re-educating people and spreading the message of the Bhagavad Gita in such a way that, subconsciously, they will refrain from being corrupt.
