Some regulation on OTT needed but govt to take a call: SC

The Supreme Court expressed concerns about objectionable content on OTT and social media platforms, accessible even to children. The court urged the Centre to regulate these platforms through legislative or executive action. While refraining from immediate intervention, the SC issued notices to platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, X, and Google, and will monitor the government's actions.
