Somnath encroachment case: SC asks Gujarat govt to keep wall height at 5-6 ft
Postado
The Supreme Court questioned the Gujarat government's need for a 12-foot wall around land near the Somnath temple, recently cleared of encroachment, including a dargah. Justices Gavai and Masih suggested a more reasonable 5-6 foot wall to prevent further encroachment. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta assured the court that no religious activities were permitted on the government land.
