Govt eyes battery-swap hubs to ease long journeys for EVs
Posted
The government is planning subsidies for battery swapping stations to facilitate long-distance electric vehicle travel, particularly for buses and trucks. Initially, the subsidy will focus on these vehicles, along with two and three-wheelers, as car battery swapping standards are still being developed. This initiative aligns with the increasing adoption of EVs and the establishment of charging infrastructure along national highways.
