UN says over 50 Gaza aid workers faced abuse in Israeli detention
نشر بتاريخ
UNRWA reported that over 50 of its staff in Gaza have endured abuse and were used as human shields while detained by the Israeli military since October 2023. Staff members recounted experiences of torture, sleep deprivation, and forced confessions. Israel, which has banned UNRWA, dismissed the allegations amidst ongoing ICJ hearings regarding its humanitarian obligations to Palestinians.
