From engineering to energy: Tezpur University rolls out eight new programmes, including region’s first B.Tech–MBA

Tezpur University has launched eight new academic programmes for the 2025–26 session, including Northeast India’s first B.Tech.–MBA dual degree. The new courses span diverse fields such as linguistics, sociology, solar energy, manufacturing, translation studies, renewable energy, and financial markets. Admissions are open through national-level entrance exams, with applications due by May 10, 2025. A tuition fee waiver is available for BPL students. These programmes reflect the university's commitment to innovation and inclusive education under NEP 2020.
