APCC president YS Sharmila alleged that the Chandrababu Naidu-led government placed her under house arrest at her Vijayawada villa. She questioned the reason for her confinement and accused the government of curtailing constitutional rights by preventing her from going to the Congress office. Sharmila demanded an explanation from the Chief Minister regarding the government's actions.
