Several countries sending firefighting planes to Israel to help tackle major wildfire
Posted
A large wildfire near Jerusalem, fueled by hot, dry conditions and strong winds, prompted international assistance as several countries sent firefighting aircraft. The blaze, which shut down a major highway and led to evacuations, burned approximately 20 square kilometers. While no homes were damaged, agricultural lands suffered, and Independence Day celebrations were disrupted as authorities battled the most significant fire in a decade.
