Joseph Czuba, a 73-year-old Illinois landlord, received a 53-year prison sentence for fatally stabbing six-year-old Wadee Alfayoumi and severely injuring his mother, Hanan Shaheen. Motivated by anti-Muslim bias amid the Israel-Gaza conflict, Czuba attacked his tenants in their Plainfield home.
