Posted
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has sent back the J&K transaction of business rules (TBR) proposed by the Omar Abdullah government, seeking clarification on procedural adherence. The LG's office found the TBR, drafted by a committee led by Rohinton Nariman, to be conflicting with the J&K Reorganisation Act, particularly regarding the authority over postings and transfers of IAS officers.
