Small plane crashes into Simi Valley homes, killing one on board

A small aircraft went down in a residential area of Simi Valley, California. The incident occurred in the Wood Ranch community. One person aboard the aircraft died. The aircraft, a Van’s RV-10, crashed between two houses. Homes were damaged, but residents were safely evacuated. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
