Air India flight to Tel Aviv diverted to Abu Dhabi after missile strike near Israeli airport

Air India flight AI139, flying from Delhi to Tel Aviv, was diverted to Abu Dhabi after a missile strike occurred near Tel Aviv airport on Sunday. The Boeing 787 was about an hour away from landing when the incident prompted the diversion while it was in Jordanian airspace. Consequently, the return flight from Tel Aviv to Delhi has been cancelled.
