Karnataka BJP stages protest after NEET aspirant asked to remove 'janeu' before exam

A controversy flared in Karnataka after a student was asked to remove his 'janeu' before a NEET exam. The BJP protested outside the exam center. The Karnataka High Court is hearing a PIL about similar incidents during CET exams. Deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar opposed the removal of religious symbols during exams.
