Ferozepur Cantonment, near the India-Pakistan border, experienced a 30-minute blackout drill reminiscent of the 1971 War. Residents were informed beforehand about the exercise, which involved switching off all lights, including generators. Checkpoints were active, and hooters sounded, creating an atmosphere of emergency. The Cantonment Board stated the drill was a routine safety measure, thanking residents for their cooperation.
