Amid escalating India-Pakistan tensions, India is enhancing storage capacity at two Kashmir hydroelectric facilities, marking its first action outside the Indus Waters Treaty after suspending it. Maintenance operations, including reservoir flushing to remove sediment, were conducted at the Salal and Baglihar projects.
