In a remarkable first for Nizampur village in Uttar Pradesh, 15-year-old Dalit student Ramkeval has become the only person from his village to pass the Class 10 board exam since Independence. Juggling school with wedding light jobs for Rs 250 a day, he studied by solar lamp at night. Supported by his family and local officials, Ramkeval's success is now inspiring others in his village to pursue education, proving that determination can outshine even the darkest circumstances.
