Two Indian American candidates to face run-off elections in Texas

Two Indian American candidates, Sanjay Singhal and Sukh Kaur, are headed to runoff elections in Texas after falling short of a majority in municipal polls. Other Indian American candidates, including Gurvinder Singh, George Kakkanatt, and Sapana Patel, lost their respective races. Texas continues to see growing Indian American political participation at various levels of government.
