King Charles leads UK service to mark end of WWII
نشر بتاريخ
King Charles III, alongside veterans and the royal family, commemorated the 80th anniversary of World War II's end at Westminster Abbey. Prince William and Charles laid wreaths, while Winston Churchill's great-great-grandson lit a peace candle. The service, attended by dignitaries, followed a national two-minute silence. This year's events hold special significance as the last major commemoration with surviving WWII veterans.
