Israel vows forceful response after Yemen missile intercepted

Israel's defence minister vowed a forceful response after a missile fired from Yemen was intercepted on Friday, in an attack claimed by the Iran-backed Huthi rebels. As we promised, we will respond forcefully in Yemen and wherever necessary," Defence Minister Israel Katz said in a post on X. Earlier, Israel'journalists reported explosions heard in the Jerusalem area.
