Mohammed Afsal made history at the UAE Athletics Grand Prix in Dubai, clocking 1:45.61s to break the men's 800m national record, previously held by Jinson Johnson. He secured second place, narrowly missing the top spot. Animesh Kujur also shone, winning the men's 200m in 20.45 seconds, showcasing strong performances from Indian athletes.
