Gunmen kill three in Nigeria's southeast: Police
Posted
In Nigeria's Imo state, gunmen blocked the Owerri-Okigwe highway, resulting in the death of at least three individuals and injuries to several others. Police have attributed the attack to suspected members of the proscribed IPOB, who allegedly fired upon commuters and set vehicles ablaze. While Amnesty International reported a higher death toll, police refuted it as sensationalizing.
