Canara Bank staff-led drive mobilises Rs 16,700 crore in 10 weeks amid deposit growth challenge
Faced with deposit growth challenges, Canara Bank launched an internal campaign, tasking its 82,000 employees to mobilize deposits. This initiative, started in January 2024, resulted in the collection of Rs 16,700 crore in just ten weeks.
