Ex-San Deigo 'teacher of the year' sentenced to 30 years for grooming & abusing minors

Jacqueline Ma, a former San Diego teacher and 2022 'Teacher of the Year,' received a 30-year prison sentence for sexually abusing two young boys. Ma pleaded guilty to multiple sex crime charges, admitting to grooming and manipulating the victims, with one relationship beginning when a boy was just 12.
